A change of heart?

On 19 February Japie Bosch reported in The Courier – Die Kourier that Kouga’s DA councilors do not communicate with their constituents because the DA top management do not trust the political judgement of their less experienced colleagues. Click here to read the full report.

In the past two weeks councillors David Aldendorff (Our Times, 7 March 2012) and Julene Prinsloo (Kouga Express, 15 March 2012) were extensively quoted in the local media.

Does this mean that the Kouga DA has had a change of heart? Dare their supporters hope for better communication from now on?

Aldendorff and Prinsloo were elected to serve on the Kouga Municipal Council for the first time during the May 2011 municipal elections and are therefore relatively junior members.

By the way, both councillors have already deservedly acquired the reputation that they work extremely hard in their respective wards.
