Dokumente wys ’n ANC-warboel

Die ANC is in ’n warboel. En hoe meer die ANC ontevrede massas skep, hoe meer dink hy die Grondwet is die probleem. Dit is nie die Grondwet nie, stupid; dit is die mislukking om dienste doeltreffend te lewer, werk te skep en armoede te verminder.

Nog ernstiger is die ANC-beleidsvoorstelle om te peuter met die rol en mag van die provinsies; die vryheid van die howe; landbou en landbouhervorming; die reg op toegang tot inligting en mediavryheid; asook taalregte en die reg op onderwys in die taal van jou keuse.

Dit is ernstige inmenging, en die publiek moet hierdie dokumente lees en teenstaan, want die duiwel lê in die detail. Klik hier om verder te lees.

ANC is drifting further away from Madiba’s values

The ANC discussion documents reported on today are right about one thing: the party is facing a “crisis of credibility.” But the solution the party puts forward – dramatic changes to our Constitution – will only deepen the crisis the party finds itself in.

It is true that people are beginning to question the ANC’s ability to deliver on its promise of a better life for all. And it is true that the party has lost its moral compass.

Anybody can see that this is no longer the party of Nelson Mandela. Madiba lived the values of openness, human rights, humility, clean government, diversity, redress and reconciliation. The current leadership of the ANC does not. Click here to read more.
